He has been in higher education for more than twenty years with a strong background in theology, social work, social services, and criminal law.

Prior to joining New Century Hospice, Ms. Bohannon held senior executive finance and operation positions for healthcare companies over the last 13 years. Ms. Bohannon has served on the Boards of the Health Care Compliance Association, Anesthesia Business Group, and Genesys Physician Hospital Organization. Ms. Bohannon graduated magna cum laude from Stephen F. Austin State University with a B.B.A in Accounting and from George Washington University with a Master of Business Administration and is a Certified Public Accountant.
